Beschreibung:
Ethyl 3-methoxyphenylacetate is a chiral precursor to the synthesis of optically active β-lactam antibiotics. It has been shown to be an efficient cyclization agent for the synthesis of low yields of various cyclic amides. The method is based on oxidative coupling and radical cyclization, which can be used in the synthesis of aporphine alkaloids and aralkyl compounds.
