Beschreibung

Sennidine B is a chemical compound that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects. It is a prodrug that undergoes deacetylation in the liver to form Sennidine A, which is then metabolized by hydrolysis to produce the active form of the drug. The plasma concentration-time curve of Sennidine B was found to be biphasic with an initial phase characterized by rapid absorption and a terminal phase characterized by slower absorption. In histochemical staining studies, it was found that Sennidine B binds to proteins in human feces and can be detected using diagnostic methods such as immunohistochemistry or Western blotting. Sennidine B has also been shown to have probiotic properties, promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria such as Lactobacillus acidophilus in human intestines.
