Descripción:
Decano es un alcano de cadena recta con la fórmula molecular C10H22, caracterizado por sus diez átomos de carbono y los correspondientes átomos de hidrógeno. Es un líquido incoloro e inodoro a temperatura ambiente y forma parte de la familia más amplia de los hidrocarburos. Decane can undergo transfer reactions with water vapor and fatty acids, which can lead to the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) such as peroxides.
