Descripción:
Navelbine, conocido por su nombre genérico vinorelbine, es un alcaloide de vinca semisintético derivado de la planta de vincapervinca, Catharanthus roseus. Se utiliza principalmente como agente quimioterapéutico en el tratamiento de varios tipos de cáncer, incluyendo cáncer de pulmón de células no pequeñas y cáncer de mama. Vinorelbine funciona inhibiendo la formación de microtúbulos durante la división celular, interrumpiendo así el huso mitótico y llevando a la detención del ciclo celular y apoptosis en células cancerosas que se dividen rápidamente.
