β-Ciclodextrina, éteres sulfobutilo, sales de sodio, comúnmente conocido como éter sulfobutilo β-ciclodextrina (SBE-β-CD), es una ciclodextrina modificada que mejora la solubilidad y estabilidad de varios compuestos, particularmente fármacos hidrofóbicos. Este compuesto presenta una estructura de oligosacárido cíclico compuesta por siete unidades de glucosa, con grupos de éter sulfobutilo introducidos para mejorar su solubilidad en agua y biocompatibilidad.
