Rivaroxabán es un medicamento anticoagulante oral que se utiliza principalmente para la prevención y el tratamiento de trastornos tromboembólicos, como la trombosis venosa profunda y la embolia pulmonar. Funciona como un inhibidor directo del factor Xa, lo que interrumpe la cascada de coagulación y reduce la formación de coágulos sanguíneos.
