(+)-Vitamina D2, también conocido como ergocalciferol, es una vitamina liposoluble que desempeña un papel crucial en el metabolismo del calcio y el fósforo en el cuerpo. Se sintetiza mediante la irradiación ultravioleta del ergosterol, un compuesto que se encuentra en levaduras y hongos.
