
Organometálicos
Los compuestos organometálicos son aquellos que contienen enlaces entre átomos de carbono y metales, generalmente metales de transición, como el magnesio, zinc o platino. Estos compuestos poseen una amplia diversidad estructural y química, lo que les otorga una gran reactividad. Se utilizan principalmente en la síntesis orgánica, catalizando reacciones como la polimerización de monómeros y la formación de enlaces carbono-carbono. Además, los compuestos organometálicos tienen aplicaciones en la industria farmacéutica, como en la fabricación de medicamentos anticancerígenos, y en procesos industriales como la producción de plásticos y combustibles.
