ESI-08 is a drug that has been shown to have potent anti-cancer effects. It is a novel compound that inhibits the protein kinase AKT, which is an important mediator of the metabolic, proliferative, and survival pathways in mammalian cells. ESI-08 also has inhibitory activities on cardiac arrhythmia and cardiac hypertrophy.
