Bazedoxifene 5-β-D-glucuronide is an analog of bazedoxifene, a selective estrogen receptor modulator used in the treatment of osteoporosis. This compound has shown promising anticancer properties and has been studied extensively in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Bazedoxifene 5-β-D-glucuronide has been found to induce apoptosis in cancer cells and inhibit the activity of kinases involved in tumor growth.
