Descripción:ML390 is a potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme 3-phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (3PGDH). This enzyme catalyzes the conversion of 3-phosphoglycerate to glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate, which is an important step in the synthesis of pyrimidine nucleotides. ML390 inhibits this enzyme with high selectivity and potency. It has been shown to be effective against glioblastoma cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit their growth by targeting enzymes involved in pyrimidine biosynthesis.
