• Descripción: Cladribine Impurity D is a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) diagnostic agent that is used to identify the presence of Cladribine in the blood. Cladribine Impurity D binds to an RNA polymerase enzyme, which prevents it from synthesizing DNA and RNA, resulting in a lack of cell proliferation. This drug has been shown to be effective in treating bowel disease and solid tumours. It also has a number of side effects including interactions with other medications, such as natural compounds and autoimmune diseases, as well as bronchiolitis obliterans and lymphoma. Cladribine Impurity D also interacts with the IL-2 receptor on cells, which may cause allergic reactions. The MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells are resistant to this drug due to their expression of the protein MCL-1.
