This drug also inhibits the methyltransferase activity of the enzyme, thereby preventing the production of inflammatory cytokines that cause inflammation. In addition, this drug has shown potential as an anticancer therapeutic by inhibiting cancer cell proliferation and inducing tumor necrosis in vivo. It is possible that BET BRD4 inhibitor compound II-25 may function as a toll-like receptor modulator because it can block TLR signaling pathways in mice.
