Descripción:AGN 195183 is a cell factor that is a specific agonist for the stem cell factor receptor. It can be used to study transcriptional regulation, such as in the case of hepatitis. AGN 195183 has been shown to be a potent inducer of growth and differentiation in primary cells, as well as being an effective inhibitor of cell proliferation when used at high concentrations. AGN 195183 is also a synthetic retinoid that has been shown to stimulate gene expression by binding to nuclear receptors that regulate transcription-polymerase chain reactions (PCR). This compound can also be used to induce differentiation of cultured cells, such as those derived from Mcf-7 cells.
