The binding affinity of 2-(3,4-dihydroxybenzoyl)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-iodo-5 methoxyphenyl)prop-2 enenitrile for the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR), as determined by competitive radioligand binding assay, is 21 pM.
