  • RU-301

    CAS :

    RU-301 is a potential therapeutic agent for cancer. It is an inhibitor of the tumor suppressor protein p53 and its homologs, which are known to play a role in regulating cell cycle progression and suppressing tumorigenicity. RU-301 has been shown to inhibit the activity of h1299 cells in vitro by inhibiting extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2) phosphorylation, leading to decreased tumorigenicity. In addition, RU-301 may have anti-angiogenic properties due to its ability to decrease vascular endothelial growth factor production and angiogenesis. Biochemical assays have also shown that RU-301 inhibits the proliferation of various cancer cell lines such as A549, H1299, and HT29 cells. RU-301 may be a promising candidate for cancer therapy due to its ability to inhibit both tumor suppressors and cellular proliferation.
