Omethoate

Omethoate is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of organophosphates and is used as an insecticide. The reaction mechanism of omethoate involves phosphorus pentoxide, an electron acceptor, which reduces it to phosphate acid. The phosphate acid then reacts with the enzyme’s active site, disrupting its function.
