CAS :Produit contrôléTricyclazole is a fungicide that has been shown to be active against wild-type and resistant strains of fungi. It is used as an agricultural fungicide and is also effective at combating fungal infections in humans. Tricyclazole inhibits the subcritical water extraction of human serum, which has been shown to be due to its ability to inhibit the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and DNA replication. The mechanism by which tricyclazole exerts its effect on plant cells is not fully understood, but it has been found to inhibit the activity of some enzymes involved in plant cell growth, such as hydrolases and proteases. Tricyclazole has also been shown to have radiation-protective effects on hepatic tissues in mice.
