Gamithromycine

Description :
Gamithromycine est un antibiotique macrolide principalement utilisé en médecine vétérinaire, en particulier pour le traitement des infections respiratoires chez le bétail. Il se caractérise par son activité antibactérienne à large spectre, qui cible une variété de bactéries Gram-positives et certaines Gram-négatives. Gamithromycine agit en inhibant la synthèse des protéines bactériennes en se liant à la sous-unité ribosomale 50S, perturbant ainsi efficacement la croissance et la reproduction des bactéries. Le composé est connu pour sa longue demi-vie, permettant une posologie moins fréquente par rapport à d'autres antibiotiques. Il est généralement administré par injection et est privilégié pour son efficacité contre des agents pathogènes tels que les espèces de Mycoplasma et de Pasteurella.
