The physicochemical properties of ARN 726 have been characterized by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). These studies revealed that ARN 726 is a carbamic acid derivative with a carbamate moiety and a probe for lipid targets that are expressed in the brain.
