CAS :Produit contrôléApplications 5-Methylchrysene is one of the methylated chrysenes (MeChry), as an aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) agonist. Methylated chrysenes (MeChry) are important cigarette smoke constituents and 5-MeChry has been listed as possibly carcinogenic to humans. 5-Methylchrysene is a possible carcinogenic agent.
Not a dangerous good if item is equal to or less than 1g/ml and there is less than 100g/ml in the package

CAS :5-Methylchrysene is a chemical compound that has a hydroxyl group on the 5-position of the chrysene ring. It is an inhibitor of DNA synthesis and can cause tumorigenesis in hamsters and rats. This compound also inhibits the formation of epoxides by reacting with a hydroxyl group on the 2-position of an epoxide to form an adduct, which can inhibit DNA synthesis. In addition, 5-methylchrysene has been shown to have genotoxic effects in mouse cells, which may be due to its ability to form hydrogen bonds with guanine bases in DNA.

CAS :5-Methylchrysene, a carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon with four fused rings, functions as an aryl hydrocarbon receptor agonist. It is generated through the incomplete combustion of organic matter and primarily detected in gasoline exhaust and tobacco smoke. Additionally, 5-Methylchrysene can be converted into mutagenic metabolites by cytochrome P450 enzymes 1A1 and 1B1.Formule :C19H14Couleur et forme :SolidMasse moléculaire :242.3
