CAS :Benzyl propargyl ether is a versatile synthetic building block characterized by the linear formula C₆H₅CH₂OCH₂C≡CH and defined by its terminal alkyne functionality, which enables participation in diverse carbon–carbon and carbon–heteroatom bond-forming reactions. Benzyl propargyl ether is widely used in the synthesis of substituted carbocyclic aromatic frameworks, pharmaceutical intermediates, and advanced polymeric materials, Benzyl propargyl ether also serves as a valuable precursor in copper(I)-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) click chemistry for rapid assembly of functional dendrimers and macromolecules. in carbohydrate chemistry,Benzyl propargyl ether functions as a sterically minimal O-protecting group, and its use at the O-2 position of 4,6-O-benzylidene-protected mannosyl donors enables exceptionally high β-selectivity during challenging glycosylation reactions, supporting efficient synthesis of complex oligosaccharides and glycans.Formule :C10H10ODegré de pureté :97.05%Couleur et forme :Transparent LiquidMasse moléculaire :146.19Benzyl Propargyl Ether

CAS :Propargyl benzyl ether is an organic compound with the formula CHCH=C(CH)OCH. It is a colorless liquid that has been used as a synthetic intermediate in organic synthesis. Propargyl benzyl ether has been shown to induce apoptotic cell death, which may be due to its ability to bind and inhibit the activity of pyrazole-3-carboxamide ribonucleotide transformylase, an enzyme involved in purine metabolism. This compound also induces apoptosis through the activation of caspases. The sample is pretreated before analysis by activating the cells with a solution of HCl and KOH before adding propargyl benzyl ether. Analysis is then conducted using analytical chemistry techniques such as gas chromatography or mass spectrometry. The chemical synthesis can be accomplished by reacting a β-unsaturated ketone with an acid catalyst such as HCl or acetic acid in the presence of a chelate ligand such as pyridine hydro
