This drug has been shown to be efficient in inhibiting the growth of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics such as polycyclic, triazoles, and condensates. It also inhibits protein synthesis by binding to bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. Ethoxyiminoacetic acid ethyl ester has shown significant antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as streptococci and staphylococci.
