Description

Delphinidin chloride is a natural compound that has been shown to have antioxidative properties. It also possesses dna binding activity and has been shown to inhibit human osteosarcoma cell growth in a dose-dependent manner. Delphinidin chloride has been found to be reactive with iron, which may be due to its ability to bind ferric ions. The chemical stability of delphinidin chloride makes it a good candidate for use as an antioxidant or in the prevention of oxidative stress-induced cancers in humans.
