Description :
Undecanoic acid is a fatty acid that belongs to the class of saturated fatty acids. It has been shown to have a number of biological effects, including lowering cholesterol levels, preventing and treating opportunistic fungal infections, and as a contraceptive. Undecanoic acid is also known to increase the body mass index (BMI) in mice and may be useful in the treatment of coronary heart diseases in humans.
