UDP-6-azido-6-deoxy-D-galactose triethylammonium
CAS:UDP-6-azido-6-deoxy-D-galactose triethylammonium salt (UDP-6AzGal) is an analogue of UDP-Galactose, where the primary hydroxyl group is replaced with an azide. UDP-6AzGal was confirmed to act as a galactotransferase substrate after it was used in an in vitro glycosylation reaction on lysates from HEK 293TH cells overexpressing ceramide galactosyltransferase.
