(3-Phenyloxiranyl)acetic acid cyano(6-methoxynaphthalen-2-yl)methyl ester is a non-competitive inhibitor that binds to the enzyme and prevents the formation of an acyl-enzyme intermediate. The compound is synthesized from trifluoroacetic acid, hydrogen bond, elimination reactions, hydrochloric acid, functional groups, metal ion, efficient method, cancer, solid-phase synthesis and stereoselectively. It has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells by preventing the synthesis of proteins required for cell division. This compound also inhibits the enzyme activity of a number of enzymes, including aminopeptidase A (APA), adenosine deaminase (ADA), carboxypeptidase A1 (CPA1), and triazine reductase (TRZ).
