CAS:4-(Chloromethyl)-3-methylpyridine hcl is a radiotracer that has been shown to bind reversibly to the synaptic vesicle protein synaptosomal-associated protein 25 (SNAP-25) in nonhuman primates. This drug has also been shown to be absorbed into the brain and to have pharmacokinetic properties. 4-(Chloromethyl)-3-methylpyridine hcl is a potential therapeutic agent for neuropsychiatric disorders, as it may reduce the binding of dopamine receptors in the brain. The affinity of 4-(chloromethyl)-3-methylpyridine hcl for SNAP-25 is dependent on the concentration of potassium ions, which suggests that this drug may also be used as an imaging agent for studying ion channels in humans.Formula:C7H9Cl2NPurezza:Min. 95%Peso molecolare:178.06 g/mol
