Celecoxib è un farmaco antinfiammatorio non steroideo (FANS) utilizzato principalmente per il trattamento del dolore e dell'infiammazione associati a condizioni come l'artrite. Inibisce selettivamente l'enzima cicloossigenasi-2 (COX-2), che gioca un ruolo chiave nel processo infiammatorio, riducendo così la produzione di prostaglandine che mediano il dolore e l'infiammazione.
