NTP42 is a nucleophilic compound that belongs to the class of prostanoids. It is a non-selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which leads to the production of prostanoids. NTP42 has been shown to have cardiac hypertrophy inhibitory effects in animal models and to reduce systolic pressure.
