Descrizione:
Ioduro di sodio (NaI) è un composto inorganico caratterizzato dalla sua apparente cristallina bianca e alta solubilità in acqua. È composto da cationi di sodio (Na⁺) e anioni ioduro (I⁻), formando un legame ionico. Ioduro di sodio è igroscopico, il che significa che può assorbire umidità dall'aria, il che può influenzare la sua stabilità e conservazione. È comunemente usato in varie applicazioni, inclusa come fonte di iodio in integratori nutrizionali, nell'imaging medico come radiofarmaco e nella sintesi organica come reagente.
