Bafilomicina A1 è un antibiotico macrolide che è principalmente conosciuto per il suo ruolo come potente inibitore delle H+-ATPasi di tipo vacuolare (V-ATPasi), che sono essenziali per acidificare i compartimenti intracellulari nelle cellule eucariote.
