The ICAM2 antibody is a growth factor that belongs to the epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like family. It is a monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and inhibits the activity of ICAM2, a protein involved in cell adhesion and migration. This antibody has cytotoxic effects on cells expressing high levels of ICAM2, making it a potential therapeutic option for cancer treatment. Additionally, the ICAM2 antibody has been shown to neutralize the effects of transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta), which is involved in tumor progression and metastasis. It can also be used in combination with other inhibitors such as trastuzumab to enhance their anti-cancer effects. Furthermore, this antibody has shown efficacy against collagen-induced arthritis and may have potential applications in autoimmune diseases. Please note that the ICAM2 antibody does not have activity against Mycoplasma genitalium or other bacterial infections.
