1-Methylanthraquinone is a natural compound that has shown promising anticancer properties. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of human epidermal cells in culture, and has been found to be effective against hepatitis B virus (HBV) and the human TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL). 1-Methylanthraquinone also possesses anti-inflammatory properties, as well as being able to reduce the effects of radiation on cells. This drug can be used in the treatment of various diseases including nervous system diseases, inflammatory diseases, and cancer.
