Descrizione

Dansyl-L-leucine is a fluorescence detector that is used in the analysis of amino acid content. It is also a chemosensor, which means it can bind to specific substances and change color. Dansyl-L-leucine has been shown to be useful for the detection of blood group antigens, as well as for the analysis of proteins and other solutes. Dansyl-L-leucine has an enantiomeric purity of 98% and can be used with chromatographic science to identify an α1-acid glycoprotein in human serum. This molecule has been shown to form hydrogen bonds with solutes, such as amines, acids, and alcohols.
