Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2-Fluorobenzene-1,3-dicarboxylic acid
2-Fluorobenzene-1,3-dicarboxylic acid is an active site residue that is expressed in some tissues. Introducing a hydroxy group to the molecule increases its yield. 2-Fluorobenzene-1,3-dicarboxylic acid is used as a pharmacokinetic probe in experiments with ligands and tissues. It has been postulated that this compound catalyses the binding of collagen to phospholipid bilayers, which may be due to its physicochemical properties. Silico analysis of this compound's active site has led to the conclusion that it may bind to metal ions such as zinc or copper.
