Informazioni sul prodotto
- 1-Bromo-3-(Bromomethyl)Tricyclo[3.3.1.1~3,7~]Decane
1-Bromo-3-(Bromomethyl)adamantane is a synthetic compound that has been used to study the rearrangements of equimolar halides. The bromo-adamantane rearranges to form a cation, which is stabilized by the trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (TFSA) anion. The TFSA anion can be deprotonated by acetonitrile, forming a shift in its spectrum. The electron affinity of 1-bromo-3-(bromomethyl)adamantane is high enough for it to act as an electrode, and can be used in conjunction with other compounds to study their reactivity.
