Descrizione:
1-Benzyl-1H-indol-5-ylamine is a chemical that has been shown to be an activating agent for carcinoma cells. It binds to the catalytic subunit of protein kinase C, thereby inhibiting its activity and preventing the phosphorylation of downstream substrates. This agent also inhibits the proteolytic modification of proteins, which may be due to its ability to bind to tissue profiles. 1-Benzyl-1H-indol-5-ylamine has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth in vitro, but has not yet been evaluated in vivo.
