Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzoic Acid, 3-(Methylamino)-
- 3-METHYLAMINO-BENZOIC ACID
3-(Methylamino)benzoic acid is an amide with a hyaluronic acid moiety. It has been shown to promote the mineralization of bone and cartilage in vitro by stimulating the production of collagenase and proteoglycanase. 3-(Methylamino)benzoic acid also increases the enzyme activity of chondrocytes, which may be due to its ability to inhibit apoptosis. The acute renal injury induced by 3-(methylamino)benzoic acid is thought to be due to its conformational properties and its effects on the water ligand. 3-(Methylamino)benzoic acid also inhibits bacterial growth, specifically that of Staphylococcus aureus, in vitro. In addition, this compound inhibits the growth rate of Escherichia coli in vitro.
