Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Amino-6-fluorobenzaldehyde is a white crystalline solid with a molecular formula of C6H3FNO2. This compound is found in the plant pseudoacacia and can be synthesized by transformation of indole, anthranilic acid, and 2-aminobenzaldehyde. 2-Amino-6-fluorobenzaldehyde has been shown to inhibit the biosynthesis of indole from tryptophan. It also inhibits the synthesis of anthranilate, an intermediate in the synthesis of acetic acid from chorismate. 2-Amino-6-fluorobenzaldehyde also hydrolyzes more easily than benzaldehyde to form anthranilic acid. The differences between benzaldehyde and 2-amino 6-fluoro benzaldehye are that this compound has a higher oxidative stability, lower toxicity, and lower vapor pressure.
