Descrizione:Sildenafil-d8 is a chemical that is used in medicine. It is the 8-deuterated analog of sildenafil. Sildenafil-d8 has been shown to be more potent than sildenafil in inhibiting phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE5) and to have a longer half-life. This drug has been shown to be effective in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension, which may be due to its ability to relax smooth muscle cells. Sildenafil-d8 can also be used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, as it inhibits PDE5, an enzyme that degrades cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP).
