Descrizione

SB 277011A is a dopamine receptor agonist that has been shown to enhance the effects of dopamine in animal models. SB 277011A has been shown to reduce the discounting of delayed rewards and improve performance on neurobehavioral tasks in rats. These effects are thought to be due to its ability to bind with high affinity at D2 receptors, which are primarily found in the nucleus accumbens and prefrontal cortex. This drug has not yet been tested for clinical use, but it may be useful for treating addiction, Parkinson's disease, and other disorders that involve the dopamine system.
