Informazioni sul prodotto
Tubastatin A is a natural product that inhibits transcriptional regulation. It was first discovered in the tubers of the plant "Aconitum" and has been shown to inhibit the signal pathways that are involved in pathogenic mechanisms, such as renal fibrosis and infectious diseases. Tubastatin A has been shown to be an inhibitor of polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Tubastatin A binds to a specific site on the mitochondrial membrane potential, which is important for DNA replication. Tubastatin A also interacts with HDAC6, which is a histone deacetylase that regulates gene expression by modifying chromatin structure. Tubastatin A has been shown to have therapeutic effects on autophagy, which can lead to cell death or cell survival. Structural analysis of tubastatin A revealed it to be structurally similar to H-89, a pharmacological agent used in cancer treatment.
