Informazioni sul prodotto
6-Nitro-3-phenylacetamidobenzoic acid is a potent enzyme inhibitor that is active against tissue culture bacterial strains. It inhibits the acylase enzymes, which are involved in the synthesis of fatty acids and other products. 6-Nitro-3-phenylacetamidobenzoic acid also blocks the α subunit of penicillin binding proteins, which are important for cell wall biosynthesis. The expression plasmid contains the gene encoding 6-Nitro-3-phenylacetamidobenzoic acid and is used to produce the enzyme inhibitor in tissue culture cells. The kinetic properties and substrate specificity of this enzyme form can be determined by measuring the rate of product formation at different concentrations using Sephadex G-100 chromatography. The detection sensitivity of this enzyme form can be improved by using an appropriate substrate molecule to measure activity.
