Informazioni sul prodotto

- 2-Methyl-5-hexenoic acid
2-Methylhex-5-enoic acid is a diastereomer of hexanoic acid. It is a model for the study of the effects of protonation on ring closure in organic chemistry. It can be synthesized by reacting boron trifluoride etherate with an amide and then labeling the carbonyl oxygen atom with a high yield. This product has been shown to have thermodynamic and stereochemical properties that are similar to those found in natural products.
