Ethyl 1-(4-nitro-benzyl)-piperidine-4-carboxylate is an anti-cancer compound that has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. This drug has also been shown to have a synergistic effect with ethanol, which prevents the degradation of ethyl 1-(4-nitro-benzyl)-piperidine-4-carboxylate. As a result, this drug has been found to be more effective than other anti-cancer drugs at inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. Ethyl 1-(4-nitro-benzyl)-piperidine-4-carboxylate is not active against fungi such as Candida glabrata or Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is also not toxic to normal human cells and does not cause any side effects on healthy tissue.
