Descrizione:FGF13 is a protein that belongs to the FGF family of growth factors. It is a ligand for FGFR1 and FGFR2, two receptors that are involved in bone and cartilage formation. FGF13 also has been shown to be an activator of the receptor tyrosine kinase MET, which is important for cell proliferation and differentiation. This protein shows no activity against FGFR3 or FGFR4.FGF13 can be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and as an antibody for immunoprecipitation or Western blotting. It can also be used to block certain cellular pathways by inhibiting the activation of different receptors, such as the EGFR receptor.
