Descrizione:IFN-α2b is a cytokine that regulates the immune system. It binds to the receptor, Interferon-alpha/beta receptor (IFNAR) and activates intracellular signal transduction pathways. It has been shown that IFN-α2b can be used as an inhibitor of influenza virus replication in vitro and in vivo. This cytokine also has the ability to activate protein kinase C and inhibit phospholipase A2, leading to the inhibition of cellular activation. IFN-α2b is a high purity research tool with a CAS number of 9071-87-7.
