- FGF-9.
FGF-9 is a peptide that belongs to the FGF family. It is also known as heparin-binding growth factor, and has been shown to stimulate cell proliferation, angiogenesis, and bone formation. FGF-9 has been shown to activate EGFR and ERBB2 (HER2) receptor tyrosine kinases. In addition, it has been demonstrated to inhibit chloride channels such as CFTR and K+ channels. FGF-9 is a potent inhibitor of protein interactions with the extracellular matrix (ECM). This inhibition may be due to its ability to bind ECM proteins such as fibronectin and vitronectin.
FGF-9 is purified by a high performance liquid chromatography process that yields a product with >98% purity.br>br>
