Fibroblast growth factor 8 (FGF8) is a cytokine that belongs to the family of fibroblast growth factors. It is a protein that is secreted by cells in the family of organs, including liver, kidney, lung, and heart. FGF8 has been shown to promote cell growth and organogenesis.
